at the Children’s Palace- Learning Academy
All positions at the Children’s Palace learning academy require that all employees providing "direct contact services" to children (within a licensed program) must have a Background Study completed through the Texas Department of Human Services which results in a completion status of "passed".
We are looking for a caring and energetic person who can maintain a fun, safe and developmentally appropriate classroom. The Teacher and Assistant Teacher are responsible for complying with all relevant state rules and regulations for the children’s Palace learning academy and procedures. Applicants for both the Assistant Teacher and Teacher position must meet the Texas Department of Human Services guidelines in both Education and Experience. AIDE QUALIFICATIONS
The Aide's main responsibility is assisting a classroom teacher in the general supervision and management of the children. This person must have a warm and friendly personality, be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others, be able to relate well to children and employees, be able to take verbal direction from the lead teacher in the classroom as to the tasks that need to be done and be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with The Children’s Palace learning academy educational philosophy. All applicants must be at least 16 years of age or older.
